How does life coaching work?
It works brilliantly. Our philosophy is very simple – we
believe in actions speaking louder than words. Excuse
us for suggesting the obvious, but some actions are so
obvious they are often overlooked:
- Getting to the gym only happens if we make the
time to go there.
- Meeting someone important to share our life with
only happens if we leave our house.
- Writing the first page of our book only happens
when we make the time to sit and write something.
- Changing the job only happens when we stop saying ‘I
want a new job’ and start looking in the papers
and applying for a gorgeous new one.
As you can see, we like to make things happen.
After the free initial consultation, you and your personal
life coach agree on a series of at least four x weekly
sessions. These sessions last approximately 45 minutes
and at the end of each session a new goal or action
plan is agreed for the following session. You can go
as quickly or as slowly as you like. This is not a
race. Most life coaching sessions are by telephone
allowing you to keep your appointment wherever you
are and no matter how busy you become. You can also
email your life coach in-between sessions if you need
some extra support or just want to check something
out.

A friend mentioned Life Coaching, as I had done tons
of therapy and I knew I didn’t want more but
wanted a way to deal with my life now. Coaching has
given me focus on my goals and kept me positive and
optimistic even through the tough times. Susan believes
in me and my goals and that gives me the staying power
to keep moving forward in my life. And we laugh a lot
too. The visualisations and affirmations really help
me to connect with my inner self.

Thanks Susan, for helping me to find my own way of
making business and also in helping me to find myself.
When everything seems blurry and complicated, a session
with you brings clarity and simplicity and make things
move forward in an effortless and enjoyable way. Thanks
again for your support, encouragement and help in finding
happiness in my work and myself.

I came to a cross roads in my life. Working 12 hours
a day in a demanding sales role with little personal
gain and mounting stress. I asked myself "what
is this all about, what am I doing?” Now looking
back I realise how unhappy I actually was and how stressed
and irritable I had become. Things got so bad that
I quit my job and decided to take some time out. I
searched on the internet to find someone that could
help and came across Susan's company. It seemed real
to me and personable, something I could relate to.
Within a week I had met with Susan and decided to embark
on 6 months of coaching. Each week we explored different
ideas and areas of interest to try and find my passion.
Susan's approach was so easy, just like chatting with
a friend. We set goals every week and Susan gave me
the confidence not only to enjoy taking time off but
also to allow myself to explore areas I would never
otherwise have considered. I have never been happier.
I am doing a degree in nutritional therapy, attending
college 2 days per week and working part time. I am
learning again about something I feel passionate about
and I am not stressed or tired anymore! It is hard
work, but worth every moment. I plan to set up my own
business in 3 years once I am qualified, the possibilities
are endless! I don't think I could have made such a
brave step on my own. Thank you Susan, I feel like
I have taken hold of my life and changed it not just
for now, but for my future.

I have had the privilege of being coached by Susan
Lynch of The Coaching Life Company over the past 6
months. The results of this journey are incredible.
I was a typical victim of the lunacy of modern day
living, living my life at full speed and believing
I was investing in the important issues in my life.
However, there was a nagging emptiness in my life that
sent a constant reminder to me that something wasn't
quite right. Susan has helped me establish clarity,
priority and integrity in my life based on my own criteria,
as opposed to those placed upon me by others. She has
a unique, friendly approach that makes her welcome
in your life, and yet she still manages to challenge
you to ensure you move forward to living the life you
want to. I strongly recommend Susan to anyone looking
to improve the quality of their life.

The concept of ‘set a goal and work towards
it’ was a new and frightening experience for
me. I had always taken what I had been given in life
and consequently was stuck in a 2 year rut at work,
de-motivated and with no idea how to change things.
Susan encouraged me to set an ultimate goal for myself
of changing jobs to work for an established company
which valued its employees, earning a specified amount
of money. Through our weekly telephone coaching sessions
I learned how to set weekly goals in accordance with
my ultimate goal. There have been times of struggle
and times of fear but my weekly goals enabled me to
stay focused and motivated. The outcome of our work
is that I actually achieved my goal 5 weeks ahead of
time and not only that, my work with Susan has enabled
me to become really aware of where my career is heading
and where I can take it.
